You’re Uninspired

I often ask groups of financial advisors what inspired them to become financial advisors in the first place.

Almost every one of the respondents speaks about making a difference to someone else.  Like this man: “In the beginning, it was to make money and build a practice.  But after my wife was stricken with a critical illness, I now still want to make money and build a successful practice, but really have a passion to help people so they can be safe when uncontrollable events happen, and to help prepare people to spend their savings in their retirement.”

Can you find your original inspiration?  Can you look around at your own life and find a new one?  Can you borrow inspiration from this advisor or a similar story that you’ve heard?
