Your Internal Branding Affects Your External Branding

The title and the content of this blog are my interpretations and the result of me attending Neil Wernick’s The Next Step Of The Journey Presentation at the Lincoln Investment 2012 National Advisor Summit in Philadelphia May 30 – June 1, 2012.

Neil Wernick is the VP, Chief Marketing Officer for Lincoln Investment.

The Lincoln Investment theme of the conference aligned with the Lincoln Investment brand of Embrace The Future.

Neil’s message included the following …

“There is who you really are”.

“There is who you think you are & There is what you would like people to think of you”.

Neil offered that the outcome of the Lincoln Investment 2012 National Advisor Summit was to help financial advisors to “close the gap” between:

Who you really are

Versus

Who you think you are

&

What you would like people to think of you

Closing the gap will help a financial advisor to improve the communication of their brand awareness.

This will also help financial advisors to elevate their brand awareness both from within themselves and with their clients, communicating that financial advisors are among a team of people in the profession of helping people.
