Who Looks Inside, Awakens

Happy Wedding Anniversary Laura!

Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens. – Carl Jung

Whew! It is so easy to do what is easy, to do the same, the safe and sometimes ordinary because it does not take that much focus because you already have the map, or so it seems. Sometimes one painfully finds out their ladder is leaning against the wrong wall.

To work on your vision and business plan, where there is no map, where you are charting un-chartered territory requires faith, energy, focus, dedication, commitment, courage, conviction and heart and soul.

Laura and I completed our 4th day this week of charting new territory and we have the map in place. We will do a follow up on Friday morning to confirm the goals and actions on these new projects for the month of May.

Can you imagine taking 4 days and taking apart your business and adding improvements to every single aspect so that you have seamless systems?

Here are some of breakthroughs and ideas that Laura and I created this week:

• Created a new product offering list
• Create a membership web site / product complete with membership card
• Create a new product called “hiring advisor”
• Create the “advisor council” and “expert interview MP3 recording”
• Create “home pages” for members
• Create a fully automated speaking follow up system
• Ask speaking attendees if we can offer their thoughts as testimonials
• An automated plan and delegation system to write my book

Looking back over the past 30 days at the Quarterly Review, I have been investing quite a lot of time creating a scalable business plan, part of which has been driven by the sometimes tiring coaching, speaking and travel schedule that I have.

Following through on watching Neal Donald Walsh’s “Conversations With God” DVD, I reflected back on clips of him speaking in Chapters, Barnes and Noble and every bloody book store known to man promoting his book. There was a clip where his assistant met him outside of a book store after finishing his talk and she handed him two tickets to Moscow.

On another note, Laura and I watched Billy Connolly’s “Live In New York – Too Old To Die Young Tour” on DVD last night and he was talking about his gigs in New Zealand & Australia …

Note to self:

-Speaking creates community and attracts clients to our web site, e-newsletter, blog, products and services to this end;

-My Vision is to help our clients and their teams to feel fulfilled through the development, realization and enactment of their true-values, vision, mission and purpose.

** Fulfillment a deep, soul-orientated feeling that one experiences when they are expressing their values, as in being themselves.

-My Purpose is to seek wisdom, provide encouragement, and teach understanding.

-My Mission is to connect, encourage and renew fulfillment with all people that we serve.

“A man who becomes conscious of the responsibility he bears toward a human being who affectionately waits for him, or to an unfinished work, will never be able to throw away his life. He knows the “why” for his existence, and will be able to bear almost any “how.” – Viktor Frankl from “Man’s Search for Meaning”
