The Unmet Needs Disease is an overgrowth of negative emotions and beliefs. It leads to ineffective behavior and an inability to conceive or carry out a strong vision and plan. This, in turn, inhibits the fulfillment of dreams and stunts financial, emotional and personal growth.
You see, as we’ve discussed already, successful people get positive results by having a strong vision and a strong plan. They fulfill that vision and plan by carrying out positive behaviors. Those positive behaviors stem from positive feelings and beliefs, and those positive feelings and beliefs stem from knowing and expressing their values.
Coming from another angle, you might say the key to success is knowing and expressing your values, which leads to positive feelings and beliefs, which leads to positive behaviors, which leads to the fulfillment of your vision and plan.
Most financial advisors don’t know what their values are. They can’t see that their behavior is actually driven by their Unmet Needs, and therefore is in conflict with their positive values (that are under the surface). That’s why they’re not getting the results they say they want.
