Waking Up With Eastern & Western Psychology

As you observe yourself waking up in the morning;

• Be Awake & Mindful.
• Ask how do you feel?
• If Positive – Breath It In.
• If Negative – Have Compassion for how you feel. Don’t buy into your ego mind’s limiting beliefs and stories about not having enough time, that you are too busy, that you have to do this and that.
• Stay Awake & Mindful … in the moment with the feeling.
• Breathe through the negative feelings.
• Following Western Psychology … You could ask what situation do the negative feelings remind you of.
• Eastern Psychology offers staying in the moment with the negative feelings … breathe … the idea is to be awake and mindful and be familiar and aware of your feelings exactly as they are in the moment … like offering unconditional love to an old friend. The more you do this, the more the pain will subside and the result will being able to tap into your passion like never before. Note that pain and passion contain the same letters.
