Think Small, Don’t Think Big

Wayne Dyer’s December 1st speaking presentation was excellent.

I’m sitting in Starbucks at Thurlow and West Pender in Vancouver debriefing my notes from Wayne’s presentation while I’m waiting to meet a friend for chai tea or coffee. After that I’ll head off to do my holiday shopping and meet Laura back at the hotel after 11am for an early lunch before catching a ferry back to Vancouver Island.

Yesterday was an excellent day having had successful meetings with two MGA firms about speaking presentations and one of them asked me to send them thirty copies of my book.

Here is a nugget from Wayne’s presentation;

“Do nothing to get everything done. Think small, don’t think big, do what you can do in the moment.”

I believe it is important to have a written vision … create three action steps and take action now … don’t get stuck in creating the perfect plan. That is all ego. The ego wants the plan to be approved, controlled, perfect, safe, worthy and all the rest of its insane unmet needs.
