There Are Very Few People In The World That Get To Do What They Love –

My good friend Pat said; “You are very successful. There are very few people in the world that get to do what they love to do as opposed to doing something to make money and they hate it.”

Thank you Pat.

Pat said this as I sent the retreat handouts, power points and workbooks out to the printer on Thursday after investing about 34 hours in preparation and updating.

So Wednesday’s comments about preparation were incorrect.

Have you heard the expression; “As a facilitator or speaker, for every hour that you spend in front of the audience, you spend two behind the scenes in preparation”?

– It is a lie!

– If the speaking presentation of workshop is worth a dam, it is 5 to 10 times that. I guess that you could say that I am on the final few things to do to complete the preparation for the Retreat and I’m stretching to get it done. Having a cold doesn’t help either.

I think that this was my ego with a cold talking.

Being in front of the audience for about 15 hours with 34 hours of preparation equals 2.27 hours of behind the scenes preparation for every hour in front of the audience.

Better make it 3 hours. There is still some fine tuning to do – we are on the home stretch. 🙂

Here is a bird’s eye view of the beauty that I expereince while cycling.
