I’m always amazed at how much energy I have following my birthday. As far back as I can remember, as long as I have been aware enough to remember what I’m talking about here, I’ve been bursting at the seams with energy for the first two – three months after my birthday. And this is just perfect as we have April, May & June to go through building resources up so that we can take it easy over the summer. At the same time, starting the book has really got me inspired.

I’m speaking at the Advocis Nanaimo Education Day at 10:30am on Friday morning and I’m really looking forward to it. Still reeling from the results that we received in Winnipeg. Nearly 35% of the audience asked to be subscribed to my 12 Day E-Course and 1/3 of them asked me to call them to discuss working with me.

Oh the joy of being over subscribed!

The Abundant Advisor Book Blog – (Day 4 of Completing The Abundant Financial Advisor Book in 60 Days – April 4th – June 2nd)

As a way of making a public commitment to completing the writing of The Abundant Advisor Book from April 4th – June 2nd I’m including a section about the progress of the book at the bottom of my daily Blogs.

Yesterday I made arrangements to upgrade my computer. I also spoke with Alex in support at First Choice Books about setting the page settings for Microsoft Word on my computer for a 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ book along with page numbers and received advise on the book layout. We talked about a 250 page book to start with.

While I was away in London & Winnipeg I started the index of the book. You can burn through 10 – 15 pages alone by the time you finish with the cover, blanks, copy write, acknowledgement and introduction pages.

Just these simple steps alone feel like major steps in getting started towards getting the book completed.
