Thank You Kate McCaffery Freelance Writer And Editor

Laura was out for dinner with her girlfriends last Friday night and mentioned that someone thought that I should release a Press Release to the local media about making the top 10 in national Advisor.ca poll.

Thank you Kate McCaffery freelance writer and editor for creating the following Press Release.

Attention: Business and Lifestyle Editors

NAME THAT VISIONARY: Business coach Simon Reilly makes the top 10 in national Advisor.ca poll

Parksville, BC, February 10, 2011 – Crediting his social media and E-marketing strategies, business coach, speaker, author and values & behaviours analyst, Simon Reilly of Parksville is pleased to announce that efforts have paid off to secure a spot on the top 10 list of financial services visionaries in Canada.

Advisor.ca is a publication for financial and investment advisors in Canada. Standing out in the already populous coaching field is a feat in itself, but standing out as the only “coach” on the list of financial visionaries is even more impressive given that Reilly’s nomination is not based on financial products or client planning. “I do not profess to be a financial or investment visionary,” he writes.

Instead, says Reilly, “walking the talk” and following his own advice – using systems like his E-marketing program and the 34 Step Marketing Funnel – all helped him gain his place in the Advisor.ca list.

Other notable names topping the list include Bank of Canada Governor, Mark Carney, tax specialist and commentator, Jamie Golombek, 35-year investment veteran, Eric Sprott and author Moshe Milevsky.

The publication began tabulating votes at the end of February. “Having a place on this list is a demonstration of the power that grass roots marketing and social media can have,” he says. “Given the other names that made it through the nomination, selection and short list rounds which started back in April, I expect there would be no contest – Canada’s Minister of Finance (shortlisted visionary, Jim Flaherty) or the Governor of the Bank of Canada are just two obvious choices. Canada has one of the best financial systems in the world.”

Still, with clients who are able to “vote with their fingers, anyone can create visibility with some effort. I got nominated because of this,” he says. “Those who think out loud become thought leaders.”
