Rested & Clear Of Mind

We are back to work feeling rested and clear of mind after our week off enjoying our time in Tofino-Ucluelet, Gabriola Island, Comox for The Filberg Festival and going for bike rides and walks around Craig Bay and Rathtrevor Park.

Given that I have a deadline to finish the workbook by August 11th and that this week is a full coaching week and a short week at that as Monday was a holiday, I had to take Thursday, July 31st out of our holidays so that I could complete the workbook.

I’m happy to say that the workbook is complete and ready to go to our editor.

To bring you up to date on the progress on the book …

• The book is back from the second editor review and all I have to do is a final review and the book is complete
• The workbook will go through its first and second edits complete with my reviews and it should be complete the week of August 11th
• This means that the book and workbook will be ready for a book architect/designer by August 15th
• Which means that I have to start shopping for a book architect/designer this week. A book architect / designer creates the cover and illustrations, page design and size, sorts out the font style and size and a whole lot more … everything to get the book ready to print
• 🙂 And now all we have to do is market the book

This week’s priorities are;

• Coaching clients first and foremost
• Planning meeting with Laura
• Send Pro-Seminars our speaking outlines for our speaking presentations for Pro-Seminars Las Vegas
• Proof the edited September Advisor.ca article
• Shop for a book architect/designer
• Send the workbook to our editor
• Follow up warm public speaking opportunities
• Get my office and project files cleaned up because I have not taken care of this for weeks as all of my energy has been poured into our clients and the book. I admit it, I made a choice to let the office and project files go in pursuit of a far more important goal.
• Start thinking about;
o Tradeshow booth for Pro-Seminars Las Vegas
o Referral letter
o August e-newsletter
