Recession Nearing An End + St. Peter

Recession nearing an endDo you want to know how to get busy in September?

Get busy in August!

The signs of economic recovery are all around us as this graph of the US GDP indicates.

The time to get busy was back in January – March with reinvesting yourself and your clients and getting back into the economy.

The time for procrastination and naval gazing are over.

Pretend that you are an old person at the pearly gates.

St. Peter; “Is there anything that you regret not doing?”

“Not creating a vision, setting both my 90 day personal and business goals and a time specific action plan. This caused me to get distracted by busywork majoring in minor things working on B & C priorities. This caused a drop in income and aggravated my relationship with my spouse because my spouse was the main source of income and we had little time and patience for our personal life”.

St. Peter; “What did that cost you?”

“I continued to stay in overwhelm not knowing what my priorities were and the fear of failure caused me to finally gave up on the idea of being a financial advisor and I got a job. This haunted me for the rest of my days because I knew deep down inside that I had what it takes to be a success”.

St. Peter; “What did that feel like for you and your family over the years?”

“For a while I felt really angry at myself for not doing more. After a while I just numbed out and subscribed to the notion that “this is all that there is for me in life”. This further fueled my lack of passion which caused me to disconnect from my family and friends. This was because I felt like such a looser because I made up a belief and projected it onto my family and friends that “I was not good enough”. I eventually grew apart from my family and friends and I died bitter and alone”.

St. Peter; “If you could do something different, what would you do?”
