Marketing Outside The “Wall Street – Money Never Sleeps” Box Office

“Two for the Wall Street – Money Never Sleeps show please” I said to the cashier at the Avalon Theatre in Nanaimo on Friday evening, September 24, 2010. ( Laura and I decided to go out on Friday evening as it seems to make the weekend feel like it is longer. )

The cashier said; “Your two tickets are compliments of this gentleman” and she handed me the card of;

Adrian Burridge, President, Canadian Investors.com

“Thank you” I said as I thought; “brilliant marketing!”

Click here for the Canadian Investors.com website and here is a picture of the “About The Author” web page.

I don’t believe that I know Adrian even though Parksville is just down the road from his location in Qualicum Beach.

My hat goes off to Adrian for two reasons for Marketing Outside The Box Office;

1) We will contact Adrian and send a copy of my book as a thank you for the tickets. Our thank you would be matching the behaviours of the qualified, with integrity recipients of the tickets.

2) As you can see, Adrian is doing all the right “nurture marketing” things with his website; building a data base, offering free sample reports, offering a free trial to his reports, offering a subscription to his reports and more. When the qualified, with integrity recipients of the tickets call to say thank you I imagine Adrian may ask; “can I send a sample of my free sample reports?”

From there, the nurture marketing process will take care of itself.

I like Michael Douglas a lot and I pray that he wins the battle that he is having with stage 4 throat cancer.

Wall Street – Money Never Sleeps ( 2010 ) was excellent but in a different way than Wall Street ( 1987 ).

Oliver Stone’s Wall Street – Money Never Sleeps ( 2010 ) was a lot more sobering because it relived our recent experience of near financial Armageddon driven by the Sub-Prime Mortage Crisis.
