How Do You Stay Seamlessly Connected & Transfer Data On Multiple Devices?

I see a main part of my vocation as someone who “kicks at the darkness until it bleeds daylight” to coin a phrase from Bruce Cockburn’s song Lovers In A Dangerous Time.

There are times when I feel like the darkness kicks back.

My vocation means to assist people to connect with their values which are the catalyst for their positive beliefs and positive feelings which help to attain and sustain a life of fulfillment versus dying every day from negative beliefs and negative emotions driven by the unmet needs disease.

Adversity is the state in which man most easily becomes acquainted with himself. – John Wooden

Values are the DNA of one’s Vision and Business Plan.

They say that one teaches what they need to learn the most.

When one takes the road less traveled, to teach what they need to learn the most, then one can expect to experience challenges that will inter-fear with their connection. On a positive note, the challenges and disconnections will temper their convictions.

This past thirty days and this weekend have offered no less than 7 situations where the connections to my convictions have been really tested.

There are days when I feel positive, days when I must pay more attention to my practices to stay out of the negative and days when I don’t know how I feel simply because of the volume of the details while trying to stay away from the devil in the process.

The end of last week / this weekend brought about yet another disconnection and an opportunity to stay connected.

All the adversity I’ve had in my life, all my troubles and obstacles, have strengthened me… You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you. – Walt Disney

Our Internet began to slow down to a crawl late Friday afternoon which was surprising given our Internet provider had performed an on onsite service call about 6 weeks ago.

The onsite service call only came about after repeated calls that go back a year about slow Internet connection and the onsite service call came about only after the last straw of a threat to change Internet providers.

The onsite service included cleaning up our underground Internet connection at street level and changing both the relay and router.

At the time, I remember asking both the service technician on the phone and the onsite service technician; “Do we have the fastest Internet connection available?” I was assured yes and yes. I found out later that they were meaning that their company has the fastest Internet connection available as in their brand.

I wasn’t relishing the idea of starting this Monday without an Internet connection so Laura and I stopped by our Internet provider’s office in Nanaimo on Saturday.

Again, we have been challenged by slow Internet connections over the past year and I started my conversation with the Internet service technician with the question; “Do we have the fastest Internet connection available?”

The answer was no. It seems that we only had an Internet connection with 20 megabytes per second which is strong enough to handle sending photos, watching videos, downloading music and staying in touch with email and Social Media.

I immediately requested the fastest Internet connection that they have available which is 100 megabytes per second which is strong enough to seamlessly download HD video, play online games and transfer data on multiple devices at the same time without compromise.

The key here is seamlessly download / transfer data on multiple devices without compromise.

What am I reminded about from this?

Instead of allowing my true self to get disconnected from my values, positive beliefs and positive feelings by life’s on going challenges and getting sucked into my fear-based ego mind’s negative beliefs and negative emotions driven by the unmet needs disease which was working on building this into a higher drama disconnection ( not that this was without drama 😉 ), I have done my best to stayed connected through all of these disconnections with the affirmation of; “love, happiness, peace and joy” which is the affirmation that I have been using first thing every morning for more than five years.

In the past, I would have been an angry, blaming victim as my fear-based ego mind was feeling out of control and disconnected by outside circumstances.

There are no outside circumstances, only a disconnection to what is within and you have to connect to the negative within to re-magnify and reconnect to the positive.

Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed on an equal or greater benefit. – Napoleon Hill
