The inspiration for this is best sought from your best clients.
One way that you can create the essence for the elevator speech is by asking them:
• What do you like best about working with me?
• What do I do for you that you did not expect?
Another way you can do this is by answering / completing one of these sentences:
• The only thing that people miss about working with an investment advisor is …
• It is quite obvious that people need to ….
• Am I the only one that sees that …
The words for the elevator speech will resonate with you … like the first time that I pre-presented my first Advocis financial advisor speaking presentation to the Advocis Chapter President who gave the green light and said, I have one suggestion; change the title to Clear Your Roadblocks.
