Heath Slawner

At the Vancouver airport awaiting my 7:40pm PT flight to Nanaimo having left Toronto at 3pm ET after speaking at the Advocis Toronto Education day.

My two hour, Clear Your Roadblocks To Success – How To Thrive In A Recession was well received and there will be new financial advisor coaching and financial advisor speaking opportunities as a result.

Tomorrow’s a back to back coaching day and I am traveling on Saturday in advance of doing a live two to three day practice visit with a client in Kelowna so I may be off the blog until sometime next week because I will be in the thick of things.

One of the highlights for me of the May 26th/May 27th Toronto Independent Brokers Summit was Heath Slawner’s Power Of Persuasion financial advisor speaking presentation and the outline is below.

Heath’s presentation was outstanding and I’m looking forward to reviewing my notes and writing a blog about what I learned.

One of the things that Heath did between his opening presentation and closing presentation at the end of the summit was interview attendees of the summit and post their videos as part of his presentation.

So you guessed it. I was lucky enough to be interviewed and my interview was the last video that Heath ran near the end of his presentation so Heath Slawner and Simon Reilly were the last two presenters that the summit audience saw – thanks Heath.

Heath asked me; “should you make your goals public?” “Yes! Especially as we approach the benchmark of the midway part through 2009.”

Remember that as June 30th approaches, half way through 2009, take the time to give thanks for what you have created so far this year, Empty Your Head and set your 90 Day goals to make your 3rd Quarter your best ever.
