It’s noon in Ottawa and I am packing for the airport with a smile on my face because my presentation of Clear Your Road Blocks for Advocis Ottawa was an outstanding success and the reasons that I know that are:
· The attendees were lined up to hand in their response forms while the Program Director looked on to hear the exclamations of “excellent presentation” and “well done” and “that was just what I needed”!
· This was the first time that I have had the opportunity to sell my book in the back of the room and 10 members of the audience invested in a book.
· The incoming Program Director for 2009 asked me for my card to discuss coming back to speak in 2009!
So I have a day of traveling ahead with three flights home via Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Nanaimo … plenty of time to reprioritize my plans to get ready for next week to enable us to take the weekend off after a very good week.
