Which natural behavioral characteristics do you have?

While the following natural behavioral characteristics may make a great financial advisor or investment advisor, they may not serve when it comes to Marketing & Sales.

Here are a couple of things that you can do.

1) Block Time

Instead of fighting your natural behavioral characteristics of Resistant To Change, Passive, Patient, Worrisome, Careful and Cautious; honor them by taking care to Block Time to service your existing clients and then Block time for Marketing & Sales. One Advocis Chapter President likes my idea of working with clients one week on and one week off leaving the second and forth week open for marketing, sales and speaking.

2) Affirm The Marketing & Sales Behavioral Characteristics

Here is an example of written affirmations that you can journal because you know what they say; if you see it you will forget it, if you hear it you will remember it and if you do it, you will understand and integrate it.

  • I am in the process of becoming Ambitious, Pioneering, Determined, Inspiring, Enthusiastic and Demonstrative with every Marketing & Sales action that I take.
  • I have decided to become Ambitious, Pioneering, Determined, Inspiring, Enthusiastic and Demonstrative with every Marketing & Sales action that I take.
  • A lot can happen in 2010 to become Ambitious, Pioneering, Determined, Inspiring, Enthusiastic and Demonstrative with every Marketing & Sales action that I take.
  • God is allowing me to become Ambitious, Pioneering, Determined, Inspiring, Enthusiastic and Demonstrative with every Marketing & Sales action that I take.
