My Planning Review Process and Re-Focus from Web Site Building back to Sales & Marketing reminds me of how tough it was to Re-Focus from Sales & Marketing to Web Site Building back in September 2004.
It is tough because of my Natural Behavioral Style and that I drilled Sales & Marketing into my head as far back as 1975.
I now have to un-drill or Re-Focus back the other way.
I can empathize with Advisors who originally drilled Sales & Marketing into their heads and now have to deal with;
– Switching from Free to Fee
– Switching to Wealthy Clients
– Reducing Profit Mix to The Most Profitable
– Carving Out a Niche Market or Two
– Attracting and Hiring a Crack Support Team
– Developing an Internet Niche Marketing System
– And More…
All of this reminded me of a past storey about it taking 3000 course corrections to send a space craft to the moon. The spacecraft had to arrive exactly 128.7 kilometers ahead of the Moon, itself moving at 3,219 kilometers per hour. Just an error of 1.6 kilometers per hour in the spacecraft’s speed would mean missing the Moon by 1,600 kilometers.
And – one can get caught up in too many details – it is a fine balance.
The most important part – Deciding on the Vision – Market the Web Site to the Financial Advisor Niche through Public Speaking –
