- All business plans are in writing.
- They must be long to be good.
- Their primary purpose is to obtain financing.
- It’s easier for others to write business plans.
- You can and should do it by yourself.
- It takes six months, a significant amount of executive and staff’s time, and expensive consultants.
- If completed, it will sit unused on a bookshelf.
- My practice is too small; business plans are for much bigger organizations.
- I know where I am taking my business; I do not need a written business plan.
- I can just pay for a consultant to write the plan for me; that will be good enough.
