6.6 Degrees Of Marketing Separation

In yesterday’s blog while commenting that I have finished writing both The Cure For The Unmet Needs Disease book and workbook and save for our editor completing the workbook I said, “:-) And now all we have to do is market the book”.

Actually, that is not 100% true.

In order to do nothing but coach, speak and market coaching and public speaking all we have to do is;

1. Hire a book architect / designer
2. Print the book
3. Update our web site copy to match the book and workbook
4. Update our show reel to match the book and workbook
5. Publish an entrepreneurial version of the book and workbook
6. Hire a viral marketing contractor

If you have been reading you will know that I talk about 90 days so here is a public commitment, complete the above list by October 31st.

Getting back to “:-) And now all we have to do is market the book”, I saw a newscast on Saturday which was called; Microsoft study disproves six degrees of separation.

The six degrees of separation argument, popularized by American psychologist Stanley Milgram, posits that everyone is one degree removed from people they know, two degrees from people their friends know and no more than six degrees away from everyone on the planet.

The six degrees of separation argument would also support the idea that I am just 1 degree to 6 degrees or 6.6 degrees of separation from people that can make The Cure For The Unmet Needs Disease a best seller.

I received an e-mail from my good friend Mark Wardell of Wardell Professional Development to let me know that he is on BNN’s “Money Talk” with Patricia Lovett-Reid.

🙂 Maybe if I ask Mark nicely, he will tell me how he manifested being on BNN’s “Money Talk” because that would be a great place to market my book.
