3 Steps to Being Accessible, Relevant and Visible in 2023

I want to talk to you about this Economic Turducken we’re going through. It started at the tail end of 2019 with Covid 19.

Then we had supply chain problems, and Omicron showed up at the tail end of 2021. Then we’ve got inflation, war, interest rates, real estate corrections, monkeypox, recession and polio. That’s fueling anxiety, depression, shrink inflation, and the possibility of stag inflation. 

We’ve got to get ahead of all this. So please stay associated with me, remain relevant in your business,  and stay invested.

We’ve got this chart here about the last four major crises that happened in the financial services market.

Black Monday, the Dot-Com Bust, the Subprime Crisis, Covid and the Economic Turducken. The points I want to make, and you’ve seen some of these charts before, look at the market declines that happened al the way to this Economic Turducken. We’re getting the territory of some of these past market declines, notice the months to recover and look at where the market was one year later.

Now, the interesting thing is today is October 3rd, and I’m figuring we’re about nine months into this Economic Turducken right now.

So potentially, the worst is over. But what you’ve got to do is stay invested in your business, stay relevant, and stay associated with your vision and plan.

Because if you don’t, you’re going to get into stagflation. And that’s not going to do anybody any good? So what’s the solution?

Remember the observer effect, the disturbance of an observed system by the act of observation. So who is the observer?

Is it your heart or your mind? Are you coming from inspiration or stagflation? And when there’s no vision, the people perish.

So what you’ve got to do is you’ve got to look out your operating system before you’re going to be able to go out there and create any appointments.

So you’ve got to have a values-based operating system and a plan. So to stay out of this Economic Turducken, I want to give you the most powerful personal development process I have seen in my 25 years of working in the personal development business.

We got all this stuff going on, the tail end of Covid, the tail end of Omicron, the supply chain, inflation, and war. So a lot of this stuff is still percolating.

And I’m going to share a three-step process to be able to get rid of it. First, we’ve got empty. We’ve gotta clear the mind.

And so, in step one, we’ll lay it all out on a line. Empty your mind. Sit that part of your mind down. The fear, fright and flight mechanism and say, what’s going on back there?

And on behalf of that amygdala, we’re giving it some empathy or identifying that it needs control and safety, and it’s feeling afraid and believing mistakes will be made if I change, delegate, fire, hire, or implement new ideas.

So what we’re doing is we’re getting the negative down on paper. This process s beyond positive thinking because positive thinking will not sustain us in this environment.

If I make a change if I, delegate, fire, hire, or implement new ideas, I can use this for the same template for what’s going on with the Economic Turducken.

I need control and safety, and I am afraid that this economic crisis will worsen.

And at the same time, I will be unable to sustain my business and my state of mind and provide the clients with the service they are looking for.

Step two is for give it; everything negative you are experiencing is not to bottle up inside you. It’s to for give it, to get it out of your system so you can be in a space to look after the clients, your family and everybody else you’re in service to.

So this templated example is, forgive me for needing control and safety and feeling afraid and believing that mistakes will be made if I change, delegate, fire, hire, or implement brand new ideas.

And we go on to step three is; forgive me for forgetting that I have values of strength and wisdom, and I’m feeling certain and believing that I’m providing my clients and my prospects with the best product and services to help them create a plan to grow assets, protect assets, save tax, and to be able to build the legacy.

And so this, this third step, will be the foundation that you will move forward from because you have dissolved all the negativity that’s going on beneath the surface.

This is a very, very powerful process with what’s happening in the world. So, honestly, you should be doing this process every morning before you start anything to have a clear positive state of mind as you move forward.
