Sunday November 22nd started with a visit to another church school where we attended their service and a tour of their facilities. A 14 piece ensemble played many great songs at the beginning and end of the service and the singer front center led the group with passion combined with a beautiful voice, and the 5 string bass guitar player far right played like he was playing lead guitar. Camilo, our Compassion team leader, did an excellent job of translating the Pastor’s message of inspiration to our group along with 1000 attendees.
Our afternoon included a trip to Cuicocha Lake, approximately 9,000 feet above sea level, which is an active volcanic crater lake formed from an implosion 3000 years ago.
