Using FaceBook In A Compliant Way

Here is a FaceBook post that I created yesterday.

I’m just on the phone with my client Andy Leitch of Canaccord Wealth Management and we are discussing how to use FaceBook in a business capacity as a financial advisor while remaining compliant at the same time.

It is a no-no to offer financial advice through social media.

Andy can remind his clients and friends about the things that are going on at the Chamber Of Commerce in Campbell River which Andy is the President of. At the same time, Andy is the Treasurer of the Kinsmen Club of Campbell River.

This posting is an example of a way for Andy to stay in touch with clients and friends on FaceBook while sharing information about the goodwill that the Chamber and Kinsmen are doing in the area.
