The Difference Between Reading A Book, Going To A Seminar Or Workshop And Coaching

Dear Bob,

I had a reflection after our call and forgive me if I am too forward or off the mark …

You have heard the proverb; ‘You hear and you forget you see and you remember you do and you understand’ …

It is clear that you understand that to make sustainable change it often times takes someone from the outside that has been down the path many times and to help to hold the individual accountable to sustain the change.

Having said this, working together one on one will do this and is significantly different than what one would experience from going to a seminar or workshop as people can hide out in a workshop … which is something that you already know.

The same goes for reading a book.

While my book holds the key assignments, I believe that the advanced assignments that I will work with you on need to be facilitated to create sustainable impact.

With respect to any book, the assignments are sometimes included but they often times doesn’t get completed.
