TEDx Talk The Inspirational Tipping Point 1 Year Anniversary

Without solitude, values will not stay in your heart. Values need rest so they can reconnect and reform with renewed vision.

Sometimes, while an opportunity at the time may appear to have no connection to one’s goals, with time the opportunity may reveal itself in another form.

Today marks 1 year since I delivered The Inspirational Tipping Point at TEDx Talk Powell River.

Back in October of 2012, I declined the TEDx Talk speaking opportunity as it was outside of the financial advisor niche and I was not ready to go into a more generic market place.

I didn’t revisit my decision until February 2013 when Laura and I were on a business retreat in the solitude of Ucluelet, BC.

We often joke that we didn’t have a Clue what would come out of our visit to Ucluelet.

In hindsite, the biggest outcome of our business retreat in the solitude of Ucluelet, BC was to revisit speaking at the TEDx Talk.

As a result, new opportunities continue to reveal themselves and here are just a few;

• Presenting The Inspirational Tipping Point at the NAIFA California State Conference
• Presenting The Inspirational Tipping Point for the Management Team at the Principal Financial Group in Roseville, CA
