No Electronics

It’s 4:30pm on Thursday, August 2nd and I am taking the time to pre-hand write this Blog entry and to give thanks for the blessings that we have had on our Salt Spring Island Holiday from Sunday, July 29th – Friday, August 3rd in a Holiday Giving Thanks Blog.

Laura and I are on holidays from Saturday, July 28th- Sunday, August 5th and NO Electronics means we are on holiday and NO COMPUTERS, E-MAIL OR VOICE MAIL.

We are just about to join Nancy & Trev McLean for dinner in their amazing home. Nancy & Trev are the owners of “By The Sea” B & B which is where we ended up staying on Salts Spring Island.

When we met Nancy & Trev, we knew right away that we were in the right place.

We had originally planned to stay on Salts Spring until Sunday, August 5th but we had to cut our stay short because the first B & B that we stayed at on Sunday, July 29th, that we had booked until Sunday, August 5th, wasn’t suitable. On short notice, booking Monday to Thursday night at “By The Sea” was the best we could do and it turned out to be just perfect.
