Removing Your Roadblocks Presentation at the Independent Financial Brokers Summit – May 28, 2008

Its 12 noon ET and I’m in my hotel room charging my laptop, packing to catch a 3pm WestJet flight back to Comox, BC via Calgary and sitting here in awe and giving thanks.

The response to my 8am Removing Your Roadblocks Presentation at the Independent Financial Brokers Summit was the best that I have ever had anywhere and many thanks to the Producers of The Independent Financial Brokers Summit.

As a result of the two presentations that I delivered, here are the results;

31 – Financial Advisors Checked Off; Please call me, I am ready to make changes to my business.

19 – Financial Advisors Purchased; Removing Your Roadblocks To Success Booklet & Audio/PowerPoint

7 – Financial Advisors Checked Off; Please contact me because I have a Speaking Presentation Referral

To top it all off, I had the editors of two National Financial Advisor Publications ask me for an interview or to write an article.

The challenge for us now is I am capping the number of clients that I will deal with for the summer and I have a maximum of 10 client spaces and I have 31 new financial advisors that want to be clients along with 3 – 4 that I am already in conversation with … ah!!!!!!!!!! The joys of a summer challenge.

The number is being capped because my job is to coach, speak and write and too much coaching makes Simon a dull boy.

I am truly thankful for the blessings that we have and for the privilege to be of service.

Something else that I want to acknowledge; my intuition has been whispering to me about doing more writing in national financial advisor publications and two opportunities have revealed themselves. The other intuitive thought is that I will be considering training other financial advisor coaches with The Removing Your Roadblocks Coaching Program in the future. There are a few things to complete first, publish and market the book which will create a solid national presence for the next step.
