Wind warning for East Vancouver Island continued
Southeast winds of 50 to 70 km/h developing this afternoon veering to westerlies 60 to 90 km/h tonight through Friday morning.

Yet another powerful pacific storm is moving towards the British Columbia coast today and will cross Vancouver Island overnight. Ahead of the storm winds will increase to southeast 50 to 70 km/h in many coastal locations this afternoon. Winds are expected to shift to westerlies 60 to 90 km/h overnight through early Friday morning across all of the south coast as the low pushes inland.
