Financial Advisor Business Speaking – Flying Into Financial Anger & Armageddon?

It is 1pm PT on Sunday, September 28, 2008.

I say financial Armageddon because this is what some are forecasting if the US does not come up with a financial bailout before the markets open on Monday.

I’m at the Comox, BC airport for a 1:40pm flight to Edmonton, AB, connecting on a 5pm MT flight to Hamilton, ON arriving at 10:30pm ET and then driving to Kitchener, ON.

I’ll do my best to catch some sleep along the way because I will have to wake up at 3am PT / 6am ET because I am speaking at 8am ET on Monday morning on behalf of Pro-Seminars which is followed by a 9:30am meeting with a principal of a life insurance compnay to discuss the opportunity to speak at one of their events.

Next I will drive to Toronto for a 1pm photo shoot with Jo-Anne McArthur and then a 3pm meeting with a board member of CALU to discuss the opportunity to speak at one of their events.

So from now until 5pm Monday, I’m in for a very long two days especially when I had a restless night on Sunday.

My restless night was because my stomach was working overtime on all the rich food that I had at a friend’s dinner party on Saturday evening. Note to self – don’t do Saturday night dinner parties the day before traveling to Ontario especially when I am the opening speaker on Monday morning.

On top of this my mind was busy with what projects I should bring to make this trip as productive as possible as I am laying over in Toronto until Wednesday afternoon. I’m flying on Wednesday afternoon to Winnipeg, MB to speak on behalf of Pro-Seminars on Thursday morning followed by a meeting with the owner of a speaker’s bureau. I’ll be home Thursday night and Friday is a day off.

This week is a coaching off week because September is a five week month. The timing of this week is perfect allowing me to present two speaking presentations, meet with three centers of influence relating to speaking presentations and I can use the traveling and lay over time to work on;
