Don’t fill your own gigs was my reply to my clients idea about putting ads in newspapers to advertise upcoming product seminars. The reason that I said this is because placing ads in newspapers to fill seminar rooms is what broke me when I had the Anthony Robbins Franchise which I co-owned form 1990 – 1995. We spent all our time advertising and trying to fill the introductory seminars and we had little or no time to look after the clients that we gained from the introductory seminars. It is better to spend time developing relationships with associations and companies that already have an audience of the prospects that you would like to get in front of. This is why we have relationships with Advocis, The Independent Financial Brokers Association and Pro-Seminars.
