They say that the same things that prevent a person from moving ahead in both their business and personal lives are the same things that prevent them from going ahead with coaching.
The questions are –
Are you committed to doing what ever it takes?
Will you continue to do the same things over and over again and expect a different result?
Do you think that it matters?
Even when people are given a unique opportunity through, Values & Behaviors Assessments, to assist them with identifying their strengths and areas to strengthen complete with a Proven Step By Step Action Plan to take the necessary actions to make Sustainable Actions & Changes in their in both their business and personal lives –
They continue to do the same things over and over again and expect a different result.
Here is an example;
June 20th – Introductory e-mail sent
June 22nd – Introductory telephone conversation and appointment set with client
June 28th – Appointment confirmation telephone call
June 30th – Meeting and agreement to complete assessment
July 4th – Assessment information sent with appointment request
July 13th – Assessment information re-sent with appointment request
July 25th – Received advice from client that they were away on holidays
End of July – Client in the audience of a speaking presentation and re-introduced themselves with a warm handshake and a comment “that the speaking really made sense and that it touched them” and they were going to move ahead with the assessment
September 8th – Appointment request call and e-mail / appointment scheduled
September 11th – Appointment re-scheduled – our request and re-scheduled to September 19th
September 19th – Appointment re-schedule – client’s request and re-scheduled to September 26th
September 26th – Appointment is still on and assessment is not completed as of this writing
Why would someone take this long to take advantage of a unique opportunity to assist them with identifying their strengths and areas to strengthen?
Because they do not think that it matters?
One more thought – “forgive them for they know not what they do”.
