This week is a go and I’m feeling great because the last thing that I did on Friday afternoon was empty my head into excel of all last weeks incomplete; excel and word docs, e-mails, files, ideas, journal, maximizer to does, notes and projects … it is important to invest time in the office given that I was traveling from Sunday, January 4th through to late on Wednesday, January 7th.
We are walking our talk with the above by following Finishing The Year With An Empty Head and A Strong Start To 2009.
This helped to lay a strong foundation for our Monday morning planning session to make sure that we are on track with our goals for 2009.
Our biggest 90 day goals include;
- Staying on top of our planning process
- Providing 28 clients with outstanding service
- Booking 12 more financial advisor public speaking presentations
- Creating alumni workshops and corporate workshops
- Creating a delegation / hiring plan
This is an off week from coaching save for Wednesday.
I have had loads of time for project work as Monday and Tuesday were buffer days and I have loads of flight time on Thursday and Friday.
I am flying to Calgary on Wednesday evening to speak at Pro-Seminars in Calgary on Thursday morning. Then I am flying on to speak at the Advocis Bay Of Quinte Chapter in Trenton, ON on Friday returning home late Friday night.
This is the strongest start to a year that I believe that we have ever had and I believe that we will receive results in the not too distant future that will help to carry momentum right through to the end of the year.
The only challenge – the Thursday forecast for Ontario is -25C – yikes!
