Countless Financial Advisor Speaking Doors

 It’s 6:45pm PT, Wednesday, June 16th and Laura and I on en-route to Lake Tahoe via Salt Lake City and I’m feeling both sad and exhilarated now that the 2010 MDRT is over for us.

Sad that we could not have stayed longer to connect with more of the MDRT Executive, speak with more  financial advisors, attend more financial advisor speaking presentations, meet more exhibitors and speakers and at the same time exhilarated by the opportunity to attend and speak at the most prestigious financial advisor event on the planet.

I really can’t put words to the MDRT’s caring, character, organization, precision / attention to every detail and professionalism … Laura and I were treated like royalty by the gracious MDRT Executive who went out of their way to thank us and to share their wisdom, ideas and network.

I invested Wednesday morning and continued to talk with the MDRT exhibitors in the Exhibit Hall to enquire; “if their financial companies hold educational conferences and do they bring in outside financial advisor speakers”.

Laura and I did what would have taken a year in marketing research in less than four hours and met the decision makers or were referred to the decision makers to nearly 40 financial advisor conferences and financial advisor speaking opportunities throughout the USA.

I believe in niche marketing and am committed to working with financial advisors to meet and exceed their goals.

At the same time I joke that Canada is challenging country to niche market to where its 33 million people are spread out over nearly 5000 miles from Victoria, BC to St. John’s, NL by about an inch high along the 49th parallel.

Ever since the year began I have been feeling that something much bigger is about to occur and that we will evolve and we have received signs by way of Canadian national financial advisor speaking opportunities from; BFG Financial/Manulife, Great West Life, Hub Financial, London Life and SunLife.

As we are flying out of Salt Lake City to speak at The Great American Advisors Conference in Lake Tahoe, the penny has dropped that attraction and intention were already in motion as we attracted this opportunity back in February of this year and the irony is that the new vision is already in motion as we are flying to the USA right after the MDRT which has opened countless financial advisor speaking doors in the USA.
