I’ve just had a speaking ah-ha after finishing the PowerPoint for my financial advisor speaking presentation to Advocis London that I will be delivering on March 25th, 2010.
I’m sitting back after updating and adding in new slides to total 142 slides to be delivered in 120 minutes … less if you count the introduction and the break.
Sidebar – you might ask what is there to update? Well I can’t go out there referring to creating a vision, business plan and goals for 2009 and I can’t be talking about how to thrive in a recession because people want to talk about recovery.
Delivering 142 slides to be delivered in 120 minutes is about a slide a minute and I am thinking that this is over the top … but delivering loads of slides with a great message and graphics is what I have always done and the volume of slides and my speaking style has yielded these kinds of speaking testimonials.
Today’s audiences want Edutainment and they want new and fresh information, they want great graphics and they want it in sixty second sound bites which is what I have been doing without even realizing it.
