Awaiting my 10:45pm flight to Nanaimo @ 9:45pm in Vancouver.
I wrote 95% of my June E-newsletter in the Kelowna airport and read the National Post on the flight here and ran across two really good articles;
- Why Boredom Scares Me So by Robert Fulford
- Rise Of The Sceptical Consumer by Peter Drake
The irony for me is I have your just written an E-Newsletter article about;
- 10% make things happen
- 80% watch things happen
- 10% wonder what happened
Having said this, 90% of financial advisors are sitting on the sidelines waiting for something to happen.
Aside from today’s adjustments in the markets and the projections that the markets may continue to settle, there has been a 40% run in markets since March 9 and no one is suggesting that the markets will go back into freefall.
I’m observing that a huge majority of financial advisors are sceptical and bored into a numbness that they may never recover from.
You know they say; “old salespeople don’t die, they just go out of commission”.
