There are times when I write either Articles, the Blog, the E-Newsletter or Web content when I wonder – is anyone reading any of this stuff? Of course this must be my dysfunctional ego mind coming from a place of approval or safety. Of course I’m likely tired at these times as well.
Then there are days like today, Thursday, July 6th when out of the blue comes confirmation that my dysfunctional ego mind’s fears are unfounded, which is always the case. I’m just being a little vulnerable and offering the human side.
Once again this feels like The Tipping Point.

We received an enquiry from a financial advisor firm with 15 years of experience that would like us to work with them on their vision, planning, systems and merging with other advisors. Oh blessed is the web site and the search engine seems to be working!
1722 E-Newsletter Readers
9am Thursday, July 06, 2006 – Laura just told me that we have 1722 E-Newsletter Readers in 19 months, that is about 91 Readers per month. The Goal is 4000 by the end of 2007. That is about 127 per month – it seems doable.
The Blog Is Being Read 🙂
Here are two comments about the Blog that we received today;
“Simon, you have mentioned your Blog to me about 46 times. I’ve been thinking to myself, what is a Blog anyway? I finally took the time to read it and it is pretty good stuff. What are great way to include your clients and prospective clients about what is going on in both your business and personal life – it makes it more real and it is always changing. What a great way to enhance your marketing.”
“I recall you made some reference to how difficult it can be to unplug in your July 5 blog – sometimes for me, I feel to deeply plugged-in, especially if I’m emotionally stressed, to unplug at all.”
I thought it might be time to offer this definition of a Blog.
Blog Definition
A frequent, chronological publication of personal thoughts and Web links.
A blog is often a mixture of what is happening in a person’s life and what is happening on the Web, a kind of hybrid diary/guide site, although there are as many unique types of blogs as there are people.
People maintained blogs long before the term was coined, but the trend gained momentum with the introduction of automated published systems, most notably Blogger at blogger.com. Thousands of people use services such as Blogger to simplify and accelerate the publishing process.
Blogs are alternatively called web logs or weblogs. However, “blog” seems less likely to cause confusion, as “web log” can also mean a server’s log files.
