But Alas, If I Were To Own These Cars Today, They Would Own Me!

Seaside Cruizers 13th Annual Show ‘n Shine in Qualicum Beach.

I’m working during the morning’s over the weekend putting the final touches together for a Management Retreat that I am doing June 25 – 27th for a client and their team that is flying here from Ontario.

I’ve delivered all of the content numerous times over the past 10 years and I want it all to be top notch and circa 2007.

One of the things that I am reflecting on is the Creative Behavioral Style that I must “Be In” and focus on in order to do this creative work which includes being;

– Subjective which will lead to Objective
– Sensitive
– Reflective
– Intuitive
– Relaxed
– Peaceful

I am one of those gifted few (I call it a gift now – for many years it felt like a curse) that are both Highly Introverted (as the points describe above) and Highly Extroverted and components of this Decisive Behavioral Style are as follows;

– Driven
– Decisive
– Alert
– Ambitious
– Strong willed
– Determined

The point is if I try to do Creative Work while in the Decisive Behavioral Style, I’ll drive myself around the bend.

It is great that I know how to balance this incredible gift.

An example is you have to have the Highly Introverted Style to Write The Book and then the Highly Extroverted Style to Market It.

Being both Highly Introverted and Highly Extroverted is kind of like having both feet on the gas and both feet on the breaks. Through an extreme amount of stress and pressure you never know what you are going to get, where you are going to go and where you are going to end up.

So shifting gears – I use these car analogies a lot don’t I;

– Shifting gears
– Both feet on the gas and both fee on the breaks.
– Drive myself around the bend

So today, Laura and I are going to catch the;

I hope it doesn’t hurt too much as it will remind me of yester-years cars that I had the pleasure to own.
