It is easy to get caught up in Business Routine Activities. Business Routine Activities, while valuable are not Business Building Activities. Goals relate to Business Building Activities.
I have loads of Business Routine Activities that include;
• Client; Call Preparation, Calls, Call Follow Up
• Vision and Goals
• Planning, Project Management and Time Management
• Speaking
• New Client Calls
• Sales Management
• Blog
• E-Newsletter
• Financial Management
• Professional and Personal Development
Yet, none of these are SPECIFIC Business Building Activities.
For me, SPECIFIC Business Building Activities include Creating Block Time for SPECIFIC Business Building Activities like the following example;
• Power Point Creation – complete Power Point Creation by September 9 for Pro-Seminars Las Vegas September 11 & 12 and for an upcoming private company event September 29.
The bottom line is Schedule both Business Routine Activities & Business Building Activities.
