There’s something energizing about a blank mind and page. It’s not just empty—it’s open. A signal that something new is ready to emerge. That’s exactly how I feel about the work behind the scenes on my new website.
After years of consulting, coaching, writing, and guiding financial advisor business owners through the complexities of leadership, growth, and succession, I’ve realized something: the platform that delivered my message no longer matched the depth or evolution of the services I now offer. It was time for a change—not just a facelift, but a foundational reimagining of how I serve.
In six weeks, I’ll be launching a new digital home. More than a redesign, it’s a realignment. A place where seasoned financial advisors, agency owners, and firm leaders can not only learn what to do—but actually find the insight, structure, and execution support to do it.
Here’s why I’m rebuilding the website—and what it means for you.
1. Because This Work Is My Calling
Retirement isn’t on the horizon. Not because I can’t stop—but because I don’t want to. This work is my purpose. It’s my vocation. It’s my ministry.
I love writing. I love distilling what I’ve learned from over 40 years of personal, professional, and spiritual development. And I love helping people clear the roadblocks—both inner and outer—that stand between them and their potential.
The new website isn’t just about creating a modern brand—it’s about building a lasting legacy. A way to share the best of what I’ve learned in formats that serve others long after a coaching call ends. The subscription content and “What Would Simon Say” chatbot will still be work—but it’s work that emerges from stillness. This is about working in stillness, not endlessly still working.
This project is deeply personal. It’s not just about what I do—it’s about who I am, and how I want to continue serving.
2. Because the Needs of Financial Advisor Leaders Have Changed
Today’s advisory firm owner is facing an entirely new reality:
You’re no longer just managing a book of business—you’re leading a team.
You’re navigating hiring, delegation, and operations while still producing.
You’re thinking about succession, scalability, and sustainability—sometimes all at once.
And you’re doing it against a backdrop of compliance, complexity, and a marketplace that doesn’t slow down.
Over the past three years, my work has shifted dramatically to meet those needs. I’m no longer “just” a coach. I’ve stepped fully into my role as a Fractional Chief Operating Officer (COO)—partnering with advisory founders to build the business behind the advisor.
The new website reflects this evolution. It’s built for the financial advisor who’s ready to scale with intention, not overwhelm.
3. Because My Business Has Grown—and So Has My Message
When I started Leading Advisor over two decades ago, I was focused on mindset and motivation. Then came leadership development. Then strategy. Then systems. Then hiring. All of these layers stacked up—not just as services, but as a framework.
Today, I work with firm owners who are leading teams of 5–15. They’re asking deeper questions:
- What’s my long-term vision—and how do I build a business that serves it?
- Who do I need to hire next, and how do I do it right?
- How do I hold people accountable without burning out?
- What does succession actually look like—and what’s the plan to get there?
This site will answer those questions. Not just with content, but with systems and structure. It reflects the transformation from coaching to fractional executive leadership. From ideas to embedded implementation.
4. Because I’m Creating a Platform—Not Just a Website
This rebuild isn’t just about aesthetics or tech updates. It’s a complete re-architecture around a core idea:
“What if the value of Simon’s 20+ years of insight could be accessed instantly, whenever you need it?”
Enter the “What Would Simon Say” AI-powered chatbot—coming soon as part of the subscriber content section.
This isn’t just a gimmick or novelty. It’s a carefully trained tool built on decades of my writing, coaching transcripts, hiring systems, and leadership frameworks. Whether you’re looking for ways to inspire yourself from within, planning and organizing the year ahead, preparing for a difficult conversation, structuring a team meeting, or deciding between two candidates—you’ll be able to ask and receive contextually relevant guidance, 24/7.
It draws on the same services I offer through my Fractional COO engagements:
- Behavior & Mindset Coaching (Values, Needs, DISC Integration)
- Vision & Business Planning
- Strategic Hiring & Team Building
- Succession & Continuity Planning
- Leadership Coaching & Delegation
- Marketing, Sales & Service Systems
- Accountability & Performance Management
In short, it’s like having a COO, coach, systems architect, and strategist—available on demand.
5. Because My Clients Need More Than Ideas—They Need Infrastructure
Advisory firm owners don’t suffer from a lack of ideas. They suffer from fragmentation.
You know you need clarity, consistency, and continuity—but when you’re wearing multiple hats, it’s hard to slow down long enough to build the machine that runs it all.
That’s why my core offering is now structured around Fractional COO partnerships. These are six-month engagements where I work with advisory founders to:
- Clarify the long-term vision
- Align team behavior using DISC and Values
- Rebuild the team structure to support growth
- Design and document systems for marketing, sales, and service
- Strengthen delegation, performance, and leadership capacity
- Prepare for continuity and succession
The new website mirrors this structure. It’s not a brochure—it’s a guided path. From chaos to clarity. From founder-centric to firm-centric.
6. Because It’s Time for the Platform to Match the Vision
Truthfully? I’ve outgrown my current website. It was built for a season that’s passed. It showcased a speaker and coach. And while that part of me hasn’t disappeared, it’s no longer the full picture.
The new platform is a reflection of where I am now—and where I’m going with my clients. It aligns with the caliber of advisory firms I serve today: firms that are ready to think beyond production and build something durable.
So whether you’re:
- Transitioning from advisor to agency owner and ready to shift from production to strategic leadership…
- The owner of a boutique financial services firm in Canada or the U.S…
- Leading a team of 5–10 people, including associate advisors, licensed assistants, and operations staff…
- Or seeking experienced support with leadership development, hiring, systems, and business planning…
This platform—and everything it represents—is being built with you in mind.
7. What’s Next—and How You Can Be Part of It
Over the next six weeks, I’ll be sharing more behind-the-scenes content, introducing the new subscriber features, and potentially previewing the AI chatbot and offering early access to select tools before they go live.
In the meantime, I have one simple invitation:

This is what I do. I help financial advisors evolve into business leaders—without losing their soul, sanity, or sense of purpose.
